Hey, y’all! 🌞
I can’t believe we’re already at Episode 154 this year. If you had told me just a few years ago that I would be hosting a podcast and actually enjoying it, I probably would have laughed. But here we are, and it’s all thanks to God!
This week, I’ve been thinking about Psalm 139:16:
"You saw who you created me to be before I became me. Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book."
Isn’t that incredible? It’s so easy to lose sight of how we try to perfectly orchestrate our lives, and we often get caught up in the noise, whether it’s social media, the latest news, or just the stress of our own daily lives. But this verse reminds me that God knows us inside and out—and His plans for us are already written, even if we can’t see them yet.
In this podcast, I dive into how that scripture has helped me focus on my “village”—the people and the purpose right in front of me. God placed these people in our lives for a reason, and sometimes, focusing on them is the key to staying on course when the world feels overwhelming.
Key Takeaways from the Episode:
God’s Timing is Perfect: Even when we don’t feel ready or think we aren’t equipped for the challenges ahead, God knows exactly when and how to use us. Reflecting on my podcast journey, I see now that every small step has been part of His greater plan.
Overcoming Fear: Fear kept me from speaking up for years, but once I took that leap of faith, everything changed. What fears are holding you back from your next step? This week, I challenge you to ask God to help you push past them.
Focus on Your Village: In a world filled with distractions, it’s easy to get lost in the noise. But God calls us to focus on those closest to us—our family, friends, and community. How are you serving your village today?
Letting Go of Control: God’s plans are often different from ours, and learning to surrender control can be hard. In this episode, I talk about learning to walk through life with a posture of surrender, trusting that His way is better than ours.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. God is doing great things, even when we can’t see it. Stay focused on your village, push past those fears, and remember—your days are already written in His book.
